Description

Located at the borders of the forest and vineyard, this route passes through vineyard plots renowned for their great wines: Spiegel, Saering, Kessler and Kitterlé. You will cross the vineyards of Guebwiller, Bergholtz and Bergholtz-Zell. Splendid views embellish this hike, and especially the panorama over the mission ross, and which provides a magnificent view over the Alsace plane on the one hand, and the Florival valley on the other.

of Eguisheim in which can be read the words """"vineis"""" (vines). 11th – 14th century, the construction of Altschloss Castle, 15th century, the origin of Wasserschloss Manor. In the 19th century, the construction of the St. Cross Chapel of
Bollenberg, also called """"Chapel of the Witches"""" in reference to confessions wrung out under torture of women accused of witchcraft in the 16th and 17th centuries.
