Description

If you’re an active person who loves adventure, choose the 3-day Tour du Grand Ballon hike. Covering a distance of 55 km with about 20 km of walking per day, explore the Vosges landscapes and cross the mountain passes, where you’ll be captivated by the beauty of the many viewpoints overlooking the Guebwiller Valley. It’s a great way to discover the region from every angle, taking in its natural heritage, local terroir, and mountain specialties at the many farmhouse inns that offer a warm welcome for a gourmet break. Throughout the hike, you’ll traverse various types of landscapes, from the foothill forest to the summit of the Vosges Mountains, passing through clearings and grazing meadows. You’ll also be able to observe the rich flora of the Vosges, which varies depending on altitude and season.

ATTENTION: The Grand Ballon Chalet Hotel is closed indefinitely!
